Living Fearlessly in a Post Pandemic World is a day retreat facilitating you to reduce suffering, increase joy and enable you to live a life you love.

So, what is a day retreat?

It's a whole day dedicated to working on your own wellbeing. You'll be guided through a number of transformational practices and exercises and have the opportunity to share your experiences with like-minded individuals, tapping into a sense of collective healing and accountable community to enable you to make lasting and impactful changes in your life. 


What can you expect on the day?


  • Mindfulness - Learning how to observe and pay attention to what's going on in your mind and body, spotting patterns and interpreting this in a way that gives you powerful insight into what's blocking your fulfilment

  • EFT - Learning how to use acupressure points to administer self-soothing to your mind-body system and heal from pain and trauma stuck in your unconscious.

  • Making lasting changes - Ruth and Heather will guide you through visualisations to tap into your intuition and work out what YOU would really love. They'll provide you with practical tools and techniques to create habits and structure to ensure that this is a change for life - setting you up for lasting success and happiness.

 

Meet Ruth and Heather

With over 20 years of life coaching experience between them, this powerhouse team love nothing more than to guide their clients to true lasting happiness, with love, compassion and more than a little sprinkling of humour.

Ruth is a passionate social dancer and so human connection is part of her being. As a mindfulness practitioner, she loves nothing more than just to be and teach others to do the same. Remember, we're human beings, not human doings!

Heather is a nature lover and loves nothing more than getting down and dirty (behave!) and crafting her garden, making her visions come to life. She takes immense pleasure in helping others to tap into what's going on within their body, using emotional freedom technique to help people to self soothe.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is simply paying attention, in the present moment, without judgement. The last part is really important! When we learn to observe without getting bored or frustrated, we're able to pick up on all sorts of things that may have been lurking in the background, making us feel a certain way. Until we have this self-awareness, we can't begin to unpick the source of our suffering and move towards healing and joy.

What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?

(EFT) is a revolutionary treatment method that offers healing from physical and emotional pain. You use the fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body. It is an easily mastered technique that can be performed virtually anywhere, any time. This treatment sprang from the idea that, "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."

EFT works by tapping on acupressure meridians to release blockages. When these blockages are released, the problem feeling can be released and move through the body.

What do I need to bring with me?

An open mind, your lunch and anything you need to make you comfortable for the day such as support cushions. We may also take a nature walk on our lunch break (weather permitting) so practical footwear would be an advantage.

What support will be available?

During the event you'll have the support of your peers and of Ruth and Heather should you need it. Private spaces are available for decompression and everyone's experience will be met with compassion and non-judgement.

Beyond the retreat, Ruth and Heather can be contacted via email for help and advice and 1:1 sessions will be available to book for longer term work.
