Surgical Aftercare (90 Minutes)
A combination of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Tissue Management
Service Description
Give your body the opportunity to recover optimally by receiving aftercare that focuses on all areas of healing. Treatment sessions will involve manual lymphatic drainage to three body areas and scar tissue management focusing on one, two, or three scars. Treatments aim to: reduce swelling, reduce risk of developing post-surgical infection, optimise tissue healing, improve communication between severed nerves and the brain, reducing risk of numbness and discomfort when the scar tissue has healed. Sessions can be performed as soon as 2 weeks post-surgery.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that sometimes plans change. Please give as much notice as possible if you're unable to attend your appointment or workshop, as spaces are limited and late cancellations can be difficult to fill. 1:1 appointments: If you need to cancel or rearrange a 1:1 treatment, please give at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with 48 hours' notice or more can be rearranged or refunded where payment has already been made. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment are non-refundable and the full appointment fee will be payable. Workshops, classes & events: Bookings for workshops, classes and events can be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the event begins. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, as it may not be possible to offer your place to somebody else at short notice. If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to transfer your place to another person. Please contact me beforehand so I know who will be attending in your place. If Unity Wellbeing needs to cancel: If I need to cancel an appointment, workshop or event, you'll be offered an alternative where appropriate or receive a full refund of any amount you've paid.
